This was my first HR based run. Anna's letting me use her HR monitor, and I plan to try to increase my base for the next 2-3 months strictly based on keeping my heartrate under aerobic threshold.
It was a real struggle to maintain this pace. I felt like I was crawling at times, just bearly shuffling along. Finally, I settled on a slow jog up until my upper limit was hit, and then a walk break until I got near my lower limit. This seemed a little more comfortable, but I still am not sure I'll be able to stick with this. I'll try to give it a month, and re-evaluate then.
