Started too far back in pack at beginning of race, and got held up quite a bit for the first mile. Roughly 7:15 at the marker, so I was way off a reasonable pace by the time a mile was done.
Second mile I had some confusion as to where it was actually located, but I believe I hit it at around 14:00, which means I was making up time.
Last bit I fell apart due to poor conditioning. I had been on vacation the previous week, and so I hadn't run in over 10 days. That hurts a bit.
In the end, it was a fun race to run in, but as usual not a good (race) time for me. Maybe one year I'll actually get my training correct and make it through the whole race. I'd still like to break the top 100 finishers, and should be able to get within the top 10 in my age group next year if I train better.
