COMMENTS: day 2 of no running... pain definitely less today... it only occurs when putting pressure on the right foot... when I got home from Rochester I looked up Letsrun info on stress fractures (surprise, surprise) and got the following advice: 1) stretch 2) massage area with ice frozen in a paper cup 3) cross-train 4) new shoes... also, seeing the descriptions other people gave of their injuries, it seems like mine is a stress reaction at worst and should heal pretty quickly... gotta look for a place to cross-train now
