COMMENTS: Tim Butler Memorial 800, featuring both Calzis, Brett Miller, Corey, Dobby, me, newton and molik... big calzi planned to go off in 56, which he did while i hung on for dear life in second through 28 and 58... brett challenged me at 300 but i held him off until the bell... he and calzi then ran about 3m ahead of me until a 1:30 600, then began to pull away... in the straightaway my legs were buckling as they were during indoor sectionals and i had to work hard to merely finish... third in 2:04.1 PR (from nick's dad's watch) after brett (2:01) and calzi (2:02)... lactic burn was tremendous in the last 200m, no wonder the positive splits of 28-30-32-34... satisfied to get another PR, i guess racing away from the mile is good since those PR's are easier to beat
