After yesterday's adventure with recently named iggy the iguana, I decided to venture onto a few paved roads instead of into the exotic jungle. I ran 3.5 miles east of my resort to a place called trunk beach. It had some of the best snorkeling on the island. About 100 meters out from the beach a police officer stopped me and said I should turn around, apparently there was a creeper sneaking around trunk bay somewhere, who had just recently been accidentally released from prison for kidnapping and rape. Don't ask me what accidentally released means, because I have no idea. I promptly decided to turn around and head back in the direction I had come. Chased by iguanas on Tuesday and pursued by a felon on Wednesday. Gosh I'm a badass.
Either that or it's the running gods trying to tell me to take a week off after the season.
Nah, I'm probably just a badass.
