Never felt smooth. Went out in second, took the lead at 800 as planned but could not make a decisive move. The eventual winner tucked in behind me and then (while laughing) pulled away with 250 to go. I just didn't have any response.
Splits 76-77-76-56
I was hoping to run the same first three splits and close in a 50-51. I know I have the speed and the strength for that but I was just too tired.
