1200m intervals x 4 then .65 mile x 1 with .30 mile recovery jogs along Arena Park I mile loop. Hoping to keep intervals around 5:30-5:35 mile pace but mainly looking to maintain good leg turnover on all intervals.
1. 1.05 miles in 6:31 with .77 miles in 4:14(5:30 pace)
2. 1.08 miles in 6:45 with .78 miles in 4:13(5:26 pace)
3. 1.07 miles in 6:46 with .78 miles in 4:14(5:28 pace)
4. 1.07 miles in 6:55 with .77 miles in 4:12(5:26 pace)
5. 1.10 miles in 7:44 with .66 miles in 3:43(5:40 pace)
This workout told me what I needed to know. 2 weeks to the Harvest Fest 5K. Hope we have a decent day to run.
