I'm feeeling good (Buh dah bah dah) this long run was amazing. I loved the slight hills, and the great routes, even though our group may have taken a wrong turn on a trail that showed where you had to go every 100 meters, but that's ok we all got "lost" together. My last week started off rough and stayed that way when it came to running, but I can't help but feel as though this week will be so much different. I felt so much better after a good rest day, and I'm ready for this week to get on with it. My running group was with Jacob, Yabby, Park, Sebastian, Aaron, and Jackson, and together we destroyed today's long run. Throughout the long run, I had one thought set in mind, and that was running a great long run, throughout the long run whenever I felt as though I couldn't finish, or if I was going to die. I had one thing to push me forward, and that was just thinking about the present and not the future. This one thought made my long run 10x better, and I was able to push harder than what I previously ever have. Hopefully, I can keep this same thought process into cross-country, that would help so much with racing. ALSO WOW, I love having a runner's high, it's probably so much better than any other high... just the fact that any song right now can drive me into a confidently spiraling dancing rage is amazing to me, if Shawn Mendes plays right now it's OVER with.
