First 2 miles were fast and close to 3 hour race pace... 6:50, 6:58, third mile started out fast but slowed down halfway through... 7:17, and the 4th mile my calves started to seize up and got wicked sore...8:55, I recovered back for a 8:17 5th mile and finished the 6th in 8:30. The idea was to shock my body with two fast miles and hold on as best I could for the remainder.
