Temp was in the 80's at the start of the run, but dropped quite a bit & ended up in the mid 70's by the end. It was actually pretty nice, slightly less humid than it has been & a little breeze. Took a new route today, south past Church Rd, farthest south I've run. Dan picked me up on GR because it was almost dark & cars weren't moving over. The route was nice...peaceful, not too much traffic, a few small rolling hills, but mostly flat. I had absolutely no motivation to run today, could have easily skipped it all together, but I felt good after about 4 miles & still felt good at the end. I would have loved to get 19 in tonight, but that would have meant running in the dark & I don't do dark...not even to run! My pace was very consistent tonight & everything felt good. Stupid shoes are still causing the bruising though & the lump on my R ankle/top of foot gets bigger every time I wear the damn things.
