A great day of hiking!! Most of the hiking was off Tunnel Ridge Rd, on the Auxier Trail, Courthouse Rock Trail & Double Arch. Amazing scenery, some scary heights that I had to do a little deep breathing through and wonderful company. I was concerned Dan wouldn't be able to hike at my pace as he usually walks much slower than I do, but we matched our pace & everything was perfect. After a full morning of hiking, we did a little driving & hiked a few shorter trails in the Gorge area to see Whistler's Arch, the Sky Bridge, Angel's Windows, etc. We had lunch under the Double Arch after climbing to the top of the arch. What a beautiful area! And the up & down of the trails & the stairs gave us a great workout. Seeing Dan too close to the edge of the cliffs gave my heart more of a workout than I wanted! I was just fine a few feet back from the edges, thank you!
