This was a "what happens when" run day.
What happens when you always run with other people and suddenly find yourself on a solo run? You learn to rely on other people pushing you & can't remember how to push yourself.
What happens when you don't eat much at all for a few days in a row and don't eat breakfast before your run? Your blood sugar tanks & you end up walking the 2nd half of what should have been an easy 5 miler!
What happens when you don't drink much water for a couple of days & don't drink any before you run in one of the first really warm days of the season? You have muscle cramping, dizziness & nausea to accompany you while you walk the 2nd half of your run.
What happens when you run out of Sport Shield & forget to order more and you go for one of the first warm, humid runs in a skirt & tank? You get chafing...good thing the run was cut short.
