Original plan:
Tuesday: 2 miles warm-up, 3.55 miles (end of Lower Station Camp) at 8:00 pace, 1/2 mile jog, up and down Bison Way two times, running hard for 2 minutes, easy for 2 minutes. Run the hard portion at 7:45ish in the beginning and work down to sub 7:30 by the end. Obviously the pace is going to be slower going up, than down. Push this day hard, especially the last couple of 2:00 intervals. 1 mile cooldown
Had to work later than I wanted, so reduced the warm up from 2 miles to 1 and only did 2 miles on Lower Station Camp rather than 3.55. Made up those extra miles back on the treadmill.
Hamstring was a bit more sore than usual today. Didn't really feel it much on Lower Station Camp, but could feel it on the 1/2 mile afterwards.
Was a bit disappointed I have trouble getting to that 8:00 pace on Lower Station Camp. I have no problem setting that pace and keeping it on the treadmill, but have control problems outdoors. Not sure why, still adjusting to running in cooler temperatures.
