Notes
Warmup: 8:53, 8:52.
At the start of the 15K, it sounded like it may be shorted to 10K, so rather than starting out at 8:20-8:30 and figured it was a 10K and started faster. With it being 70 degrees, it made it a bit tougher.
I got into a nice rhythm on the Greenway until all hell broke loose after 4 miles with extremely strong winds, heavy rain, which almost felt like little hail pellets at one point. Although the monsoon mile was my fastest because I wanted to get off the Greenway before the wind blew me into the river. Shoes were soaked and running through standing water. After 5 miles, 15K runners routed to 10K. Mile 6 was into a very tough wind and rain, which slowed me down, but could finish the last .2 strong.
