Notes

Started out pretty strong but the hills in the 3rd and 4th miles tired me some resulting in slower pace in miles 3-4. After I got to the top of this hill just past mile marker 4 and heading down hill towards Sams club, I felt a good burst of energy and past a few runners as I started moving faster. Concentrated on breathing to relax me. Slowed into the water stop at mile marker 4.7 so I could get a good drink and then as I turned right down Indian Lake, I felt real strong. Passed about 4 runners on this stretch and no one remaining was passing me. After cresting the final hill on Indian Lake Blvd, ran strong to the finish line. Feel some tiredness in the calves in the afternoon. Feeling good on the knees going up and down stairs at home, will see how I feel in the morning. Had trouble going up/down stairs for about 2-3 days after the Nashville half marathon.

Tuesday update - cavles feel good, no soreness going up/down stairs.
