Left leg felt pretty good today.
I started at Wave Country and went 4.5 miles towards Kohl's and turned back and then went and did 4.1 miles down in Shelby Bottoms to make it a half marathon length.
Since last Sunday's run was a fast finish, this one needed to be much easier. It's tough running these hills. Even though the overall pace was only 10:04, an average heart rate of 151 for 2 hours 11 minutes is a pretty good work out. I felt pretty tired at the end.
2264 feet of elevation gain/loss compared to 322 feet at Houston!
The good news is that it's still 86 days to the Boston Marathon. That is a lot of time to get some good training in and get that marathon gas tank ready.
