Plan: 20 miles. First 10 miles easy, next 8 miles at 8:00-8:05 pace (bc of heat). If you're feeling really good, you can run up to 2 more miles at the pace. If you're really struggling, start the cooldown after eight.

It was upper 60's at the start and 77 at the end. Ran the first 4.5 with Max.

Stayed up too late watching the new season of Orange is the new Black and was a bit tired and dehydrated. But this run had to be run in this time slot as the weather was only going to get warmer over the weekend.

Really wanted to quit after 10 miles, but I knew I needed to run those 8 miles at the 8:00-8:05 pace. I was hitting the pace, sometimes had to run a bit faster at the end of the mile to get under 8:05, and I could feel myself slowing a bit on the last two and missed those by 3-4 seconds.

I wasn't like totally drained after 18, but I was thirsty, dehydrated, and out of water, so decided to do the cooldown later and go get some diet cokes from McDonalds.

It was 73-77 degrees for the last 8 miles. I miss the cold weather running.
