Notes

It seemed nice in the beginning around 68, but seemed to warm up quickly with humidity.

Ran with Todd from HRC for the first 10 miles through the park and on the Boomer Route. He finally wanted to walk a while and insisted I go ahead, so ran solo after mile 10. When I reached back to the start at Drakes Creek park at the end of 14 miles, I was starting to feel tired and a bit weaker. I had taken 1 GU about an hour before the run and 1 GU 30 minutes prior the start. Finally after 14 miles I took an additional GU to get me through the next 4-5 miles.

Drank more water than last Saturday. Do I think it warmed up faster. Around 75 at the finish. Started an hour later this week,

It seems like it is always tough to get going after you reach the starting point, so it was more of an easy run for the additional 4 miles in Drakes Creek Park. I normally go for the high end range, but decided 18 miles was enough rather than taking the high range of 19.

The Boomer Route does take a lot out of you, maybe legs were a little tired from the tempo run just 36 hours prior. Definitely didn't feel as strong as the previous Saturday.
