Notes

Wasn't sure about the road conditions on the 4 mile loop over by Madison Creek Elementary, so I used Saundersville Road, which has close to the same elevation change.

Not really satisfied with my effort on the hills. I felt like I was running hard, but wasn't getting the speed. It was into a pretty good wind on the uphill. It was easier on the treadmill where I was running with shorts and no shirt versus bundled up for the mid 30's temperatures.

I could really notice on the cool down how heavy my running pants were since they are holing all the perspiration. I need to wear shorts at Boston.

I also need to learn how to open up on the downhill. Is there a Greenway around with some good hills? Half the problem is worrying about falling with all the oncoming traffic. Lots of loose stones on the downhill on Saundersville Road that I was worried about taking a fall. I definitely think I can relax more an open up on the downhills if I'm on a Greenway versus a road with traffic.
