Right femur was sore most of the day. Did my core exercises just before heading out to run, which seems to help.

Could feel it the first couple miles, but after that it felt pretty decent.

Was targeting 8:58 for the run since that's where my first mile was.

I feel like I have the confidence to know that the soreness won't last and that I can get out there and get the run in and it should feel good after a couple miles.

Going to bring the heating pad to Minnesota. I remember using that the morning of the marathon for the hamstring issues last year.
