The plan was to average 8:00 pace to the top of the hill early in mile 6 and run around 7:30 from there.
When you factor in the true miles (10.10), I averaged a 7:58 pace to the top of the hill at the start of mile 6 and averaged right at 7:30 the rest of the way.
So I'm happy with the race, ran it just as planned. I had to put the brakes on early in mile 1 as I was heading out way too fast, but was able to get it back on the targeted pace.
Quads felt a little sore on the cooldown.
