Notes
This was supposed to be a 2 mile warm up, 6 x 1 mile sub 7:15 + 3:00 slow jog, 2 mile cool down.
I could tell my right leg was still bothering me on the warm up and it seemed to bother me a little more on each of the 6 mile repeats. At one point, I figured I would stop after 3 repeats, but told myself to keep doing one at a time, even if I wasn't hitting the targeted time.
Probably lost some fitness combined with the sore right leg, I just didn't have the power to keep up the 7:15 pace after the first couple. Plus I ran Brixx pretty hard last night. Tried not to be discouraged, as the workout will help my fitness level even if it wasn't the pace I wanted.
It was 79 outside, so weather shouldn't have been a big factor.
May have to re-assess the targeted pace for Saturday. If the leg isn't close to 100%, probably not going to PR.
