Notes
Garmin reset just into the second mile, so I adjusted the second mile to match the official time.
For me, it felt really warm and humid after about 1-2 miles, so I knew I wasn't going to put much of an effort and really wasn't motivated to push it up those hills.
I knew getting under 2:00 was going to take quite a finish and I pretty much ran all out those last .15-.20 miles and watch was showing 6:15 pace.
But that final push put me under 2 hours at 1:59:58.
I didn't feel that wiped out walking back to the hotel, having ran at just a moderate level until the end.
I should be able to do a good workout on Tuesday prior to next Saturday's half marathon race.
