Plan: 2 miles warm-up, 5 miles at 7:40ish on a flat surface, 1 mile cooldown
I did this when it was 75 with dew point 72= 147!
The first tempo mile seemed really hard to get the lap pace down to the 7:40 mark so I tried to push it just a bit on the second mile when I missed the 7:40 mark by just over a second.
I wasn't expecting this, but all of a sudden half way through the 3rd mile the effort felt easier to keep at the 7:40 pace and the little bit of adrenaline I get when I am on the last hard mile caused my pace to drop another 10 seconds towards 7:30. I felt really good about this run and that I can run 5 pretty hard miles in warm humid weather without needing to stop for water.
