Workout: 3@7:40, 1/2 slow, 2@7:30, 1/2 slow, 1@7:15
It's hard to mentally get started on these workouts. After the 3 mile warmup, I found myself checking the Iphone to see what the temperature would be to do the tempo run in the evening, but then I got tough and went forward.
I didn't go way under the targeted pace, but stayed pretty close to the target. The two miles at 7:30 felt pretty tough, so I wasn't sure I had the gear for the sub 7:15, but surprised myself and hung on pretty good and then felt that sick feeling with about .15 miles to go and did the cookie toss after the 7:12 mile. Mission accomplished.
