Notes
inaugural lighthouse loop put on at ponce inlet by WVR, they did a great job! i'd woke up at three to be able to leave by four to be able to get there by 5 bc they expected parking to be bad, well, i actually left house at 330 and got there around 415 and had no prob w/ parking! plenty of time to walk around and limber up, thank god they had a bag check and i could wait til the last minute to drop off my sweatshirt, b/c it was chilly and very windy! very good run, i actually felt strong up to mile 10, usually i start to drag at 8, but 10, 11, and 12 were my fastest 3 (just like in training! go higdon!) and 13 would've been too except for causeway - see note below! fourth place in my age group out of 70! 3 minutes shy of a plaque :( but i am thrilled bc my anticipated time based on my 4 mile and 10k races said 1:52...i would've been thrilled w/ a 1:50, and then i pulled out at 1:47 - WOOT WOOT!!!
