ugh, day two of pretty nasty headache w/ eye pain, but i'd told J i'd feed and it actually wasnt raining for once (there were 23 rainy days in sept, a record!!! :( ) so i went ahead and got on, rode over by ground poles, just worked on the HL tip to 'full' half halt when she was rooting/hanging on the bit, it worked pretty good but goddamn, for most of the ride she felt very flat/scrabbly/dragging on forehand.... :( was it just b/c the area was small? bc i haven't ridden much since the show? dunno, but my head hurt, it was hot as fuck, and i was exhausted so didn't care to try and fix
