Saturday: 14 miles long run
It was kind of a long run, so it's hard to remember everything. I just took it really easy to start. I knew I would be climbing the first 6 miles, so I really ignored the watched and just stayed relaxed. My right calf was bothering me again around 3 miles. It must be the crowning on the road, since it always bothers me around that area on easy runs.
Hogans Branch hill was easier than I remember it being. The way back was actually a breeze; I felt good all the way, even on the hills back into the neighborhood. Honestly, it was just like an easy run, except longer (and a little easier to start).
I will be rolling out and getting a good night sleep tonight. I just enjoyed two burgers and fries for dinner, and then a nice stack of Oreos! What! I just ran 14 miles!
