Notes
8 mile easy
I was a little tight in the ankle/achilles/calf linkage the first mile or so. It probably didn't help that it was a little climb. Once I was past Belmont, I felt great. Belmont to Lipscomb is a great route, wide shoulder and sidewalks were it does narrow down.
I added on a little loop through Lipscomb to get to 8, and it had ~5 stairs to climb, then I took a wrong turn and ended up running through some grass and a parking lot.
It was a really good run, a complete 180 from some of the summer runs on this route. The Belmont climb was easy, I hit the lights perfect to get back to Fairfax.
The Mirages are nice, but they are still a little rigid/stiff. Once I break them in, I bet I will really like them.
