Notes

Workout: 3 miles warm-up, including 6x30s strides with liberal recovery, 4x10s hill sprint with 2:00 easy recovery jog, 2 miles cool-down.

Warmup felt good. Strides were easy/smooth. Some were into the wind, so I just stayed relaxed. Did some static and dynamic stretches after the warmup, some knee highs, butt kicks and skips before the sprints.

I really tried to think "100%, not 99%" during the sprints. These were different than the hill sprints from the Spring. I don't think that effort was 100%. I was really up on my toes, sprinting, and that's not what I was doing before. I really had the arms pumping too, so I think I did what I was supposed to.

I was really beat after the last one and I didn't feel like climbing anymore hills, but I had 3 climbs on the cooldown. So I just took it really easy.

I don't want to be lazy, but part of me is thinking about driving out to Moss Wright for this next time to avoid the hills on the way back. But I really like to avoid driving somewhere to go for a run.

Or I guess I could try the hill sprints on Willis Branch...so many options.
