Had the Demons talking again before this speed workout. Just didn't want to do it. Good thing I'm reading "Once a Runner" because it really gives me motivation to do the speed work. Once I got started it went great and I'm really happy about the splits. I tried a new way to run (for me). Instead of shuffling my feet, I really concentrated on high knees and kicking my feet back and up through the stride. This obviously made a big difference as seen in my time. My only disappointment was letting myself walk for 200m after my last 200m and before my last 800. I walked 200m then jogged 200m. I also wanted my last 800 to be stronger, but I wore myself out on the 3rd 800 and 7th/8th 200. My legs were shot.
