I had to go back and search through a few "before" pictures to find one that showed that I really was overweight because I always wore baggy clothes and avoided getting my picture taken if at all possible.
Here's one I found that shows me at about my heaviest. I got close to 250lbs a couple times. This was on our 10 year anniversary vacation.
And this was at the finish of my most recent half marathon.
It's been 10 years since the earlier picture, but I was about 245 lbs in the summer of 2010 when I started running to get in shape for hunting and have just slowly lost the weight over the last 3 years. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this summer and I am holding right around 200 lbs now. Even broke the 200 lbs barrier a couple times this fall (barely) but I'm at 203 right now. That's the lightest I've weighed since my Sophomore year of college.
Hoping to keep it that way and running sure has been working for me from that perspective.

Oh, it's been a LONG time...but funny to look back. I didn't start running until I was 30. Here is my college before (200+lbs, 5'10", 6'5" with the fro):
