WEDNESDAILIES Are Halfway to Friday (Read 38 times)

    Mornin'.

Monday, I did 4.2 miles in 42:18 (9:36). Yesterday, I did 4.8 miles in 45:22 (9:27). I also did weights, abs, and push-ups. Today, I'll do cardio, abs, and push-ups.

I'm starting to feel normal. I no longer feel bloated and constantly needing to go, which were cramping (literally) my style. While I'm no longer doing a FM in November because I missed five weeks of training, I'll do a HM that same month.

Nice to see you feel good, Basya.

Sly, for yesterday's post, nice race. 0.3 K long out of 8K, that is a lot.

I will not be running today, because it's Wednesday.

Another easy AlterG run... waiting until tomorrow to get outside because MY FACE HURTS DAMMIT.

The surgeon has me taking steroids.  Think it will make me super fast?    (Yes, I know it's not the same thing... but it's supposed to reduce swelling, and it doesn't seem to be doing that, so you never know.)

                Morning everyone Smile

I'm feeling a bit better, still have some rashes but I went out and ran my 10 miles without issue. Anybody (who lives in cooler areas, so D you don't count) else notice when they're running in slightly cooler temps (in the high 60's) that sometimes they'll suddenly run through an area of warmer temperature and then back to cool? Or even one that just lasts for about a mile, I did this morning.

Are you crazy?  I have not run outside in three weeks (if not longer) at least. Heat indexes above 103-106 every day. It's on the TM.  I have another month of TM if I am lucky.

Fifty minutes on the AMT. and I didn't feel the need to go once during my workout. That's a nice changeSmile

                      From the Internet.

Morning! 5.1 miles in an hour this morning: 10 minute walk, 30 minute run, 3 minute walk, 5 minute run, walk to 60 minutes total. It was fantastic. I can't wait until I can run every day again. Pool workout in a couple hours.

I have 7 in the morning.

Not sure why but I felt good today. So much so that I went that extra mile and did 8. Big grin

They were incredibly slow but that was not indicative of anything bad. I was simply immersed in positive thoughts and just enjoyed the run, like I used to do before being saddled with the burdened of training expectations and race times.

Nope, today's run was the essence of why I fell in love with the sport in the first place. Add to that I was able to take a gel at mile 4 (and I didn't gag, hooray!) and today was a good day...and it hasn't even really started yet!

5 miles in the soup with hills. And I could feel every muscle that was worked in yesterday's strength training class. Oooooo.

20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
