The good thing is my parents live ~15 miles from the start and my brother lives a few train stops from the end, so getting him there and back should be no issue. Getting ME and all the family members who want to go see him race along the course is going to be the challenge lol

13 in the rain. Legs felt great, ended up averaging about GMP+20.
43 for the week. Broke a streak of 17 weeks of 50+, but made it 30 straight weeks of 40+.

I've run Chicago 5x and only once was it really warm. I didn't run the year they stopped the race, though. Most years (historically) the temps have been quite good... it's a crap shoot. It'll probably be a blizzard this year... Lol... As for the reasons for my layoff... they are numerous and varied, but part of it was definitely burnout. I hope you find some baby carrots out there...
