Onemile and zelanie's marathons are there for our entertainment and discussion. FAIR GAME IMO.
OK THEN! Onemile through 20 in 2:26:45! Zel at the half in 2:25:50!
Sadly I need to go run now. I guess I do need the Garmin with the text/email alert so I can stalk & run at the same time.
Dave
5, felt way harder than it should have.
Go Onemile & Zelanie!

By over a minute! Big congrats to onemile!

She's got me by 11 seconds now. God dammit.
Great job, onemile!!
Zel is through 20 miles and is getting faster!
<3
And that's how you go out too fast for your fitness and crash and burn

Let's go Zel!
Shoot. I thought you might be disappointed. Marathoning is tough business. You PRed, and you didn't crash and burn. What you did is called fading. It's all good because, marathon.
You've been paying attention to the dailies too much. Regardless of how you got there, that's a hell of a good marathon. Boston 2018. All the cool kids are going to be there. Plus maybe me and Dave.
Still waiting on the Zelanie finish split!
Are we there, yet?
She finished a few minutes ago.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K, 9:11:09 06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
That's not crash & burn. THIS is crash & burn.
Sorry, you didn't finish quite how you hoped, but a PR is a PR, and 3:15 is still a spectacular time that I can't even fathom.
I had in my head that you might be able to run 7:15s for 3:10, but you mentioned you were shooting more for 7:20/3:13. So I was a bit surprised to see you start at 7:15, but hopeful you could keep it up.
Anyway, huge congrats on a great race, and especially on beating Baboon.
Plus maybe me and Dave.
Ha. I most likely have a lot of work to do before that happens.
12.5 miles today is some kind of hail or freezing rain that was basically like raining Dippin' Dots. And then later just turned to cold rain. It kind of sucked. But ended up being a pretty good run: 12.5 miles at 8:39.
55 for the week.
That was hard. I absolutely ran the best I could today. And it was the smallest positive split so far.
I think it was my biggest one
