Very true, but of course this whole thing is stupid.
MTA: when I did my last 300, with about 2 weeks left in the month my schedule projected out to 297. So it was pretty easy to sprinkle a few extras in. If I had just looked and found myself 5 miles short on the last day, would probably not have done anything.
