I currently project out to >3400, lol.
Dave
if you pick it up you could get 3500
Thus earning me the title of Cyborg, Jr.
totally worth it
It’s only 67 miles a week for the year! Piece of cake!
Emphasis on Junior, son!

delicate flower
This will be a good week to close the gap. I'll need to run some extra unscheduled miles just to hit 10 points.

Are we there, yet?
Then I shouldn't lose any ground to you. I was concerned because this is a recovery week for me.

George - how did your 50k go? Are you doing a RR?
This is what I posted in the Ultrarunning group:
Had a crazy weekend. Absentmindedly missed a critical turn on my way to my race going 30 miles out of the way before I realized I was headed to the wrong destination (last month's race instead of this one). Is that what they call a senior moment? Anyway by the time I finally arrived at my motel I had added 80 miles and two hours to the trip.
Weather for the race was less than ideal, sunny and a high of 76F. I was moving fine for the first 23 miles, but I still need to work on my drinking and eating. I think I overate at first, then cut back too much on calorie intake, because I got lightheaded again at the aid station when I paused after 23 miles to get a drink. Fortunately it was only momentary and a nearby runner kept me from falling. At that point I shifted to all walking and was more conscientious about eating on subsequent laps (one mile is distance). With a lap to go I realized I could still finish under 7:45 for the 50K if I pushed the last lap. I'd been feeling a lot better, so I resume my run-walk and finished unofficially in 7:44:34. Afterward I think switching to more sugary foods like Rice Krispies Treats and candy bars corrected the calorie intake issue and I could have resumed my run-walk much earlier. While not the time I had hoped for, being able to come back so strongly is very encouraging. Looking forward to 12-hour race once I decide on which to run.
Official time was 7:44:14.

Nice job, George! And have you ever not gotten lost driving to a race?
