      Pretty much the same.  Low 50s and sunny during the time of the race.

       

      Coach asked me why I struggled a little today.  And I'll all like, "Brah, 14 miles at 7:20 pace Sunday, 6.5 miles at 7:35 pace Tuesday, 8.5 miles at 7:05 pace yesterday.  And 86 degrees today.  FFS"

                  Are we there, yet?

                     

                    They say a little stress is healthy for athletes. Don't worry, you're now an expert at those things. Plus, you will be surrounded with friends. You"ll have a great time, I'm sure.  What will the weather be like?

                     

                    It changes by the hour, but I'm expecting rain some of the time on Saturday, possibly t-storms, with highs in the upper 70Fs and over night lows in the low 50Fs. It will probably be windy being right on the Lake Erie shore. We have an incredible group this year with a bunch of new RWOL people coming.

                     2024 Races:

                          03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles

                          05/11 - D3 50K
                          05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour

                          06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.

                        Except when you end up DNSing and lose the entire fee.  I've done that enough times that I quit signing up too far in advance.

                         

                        I've registered for less than 10 races in my life and had this happen for 2 of them. I may register early for my spring marathon because I worry that it'll fill up, but for the most part I register close to race day now.
