Google doc with current standings
Over in the penguin thread, there are quite a few of us who would like to take off some pounds before serious spring training gets underway. Although it started in the igloo, as usual everyone who would like to participate is welcome.
How it works: Weigh yourself on the weekend, and post how you did. It doesn't matter which day, but try to be consistent. The one who is down the most by 4/1 wins (or take the previous weekend's weight if you're happy with it). Your prize? Bragging rights, plus being that much closer to your goals for your next training cycle. You don't have to post the actual number if you don't want to, just call your starting weight "X" and your subsequent weights "X-2.4" or whatever. I'll keep this first post edited with current standings.
May the best penguin (or honorary penguin) win!

Currently 150 lbs, only managed to lose 3 lbs last month. ...better than gaining 3 I guess lol.
Hoping to lose 3-5 lbs this month.

How it works: Weigh yourself...
Welp, I'm out. lol
I thought you were going to step on a scale today.
After my fiasco last month, I'm not going public with my weight any more. Somehow marathon training and weight loss don't go together as well as I'd hoped.
Ginny, I was wondering that myself, whether the challenge was motivating or demotivating for me. But in the end, I had enough good days to make up for the not so good ones, which is why I decided to continue. Hoping that you have a good March, whether you're posting about it or not.
Return To Racing
141.6 carryover from February.
My weight from yesterday was 162, so that's where I'll start. My goal is to get down to maybe 157-158. Baby steps.....
109.2, I think? Is it what I posted this morning? Too lazy to check. I'll go with 109.2. I'd be really really happy with 105 by the end of this month...
PRs: Boston Marathon, 3:27, April 15th 2013
Cornwall Half-Marathon, 1:35, April 27th 2013

From the Internet.
Back in again! Starting with 131.3 yesterday morning (though I would be shocked if I don't gain this week after all the dessert I've had since yesterday D: ).
139.4
Today was an excellent start. Now if I can do 30 more days like this.
I'm in! February seemed like a bust! It kills me how it only takes a weekend to pack on 5 pounds, but 3 weeks to undo the damage.
Looking forward to a fresh start at 152.5. Goal of 145 is not unreasonable. Mark...get set...Go!

I'm in. At least this will make me think twice when there are sweets offered up at work. 144 starting point. Again.
