Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

"Elderly joggers were half as likely to die prematurely..." If you've achieved the status of an "elderly jogger," haven't you already succeeded in avoiding premature death? Just wonderin'... Roll eyes Jay

And there was no evidence that runners were more likely to suffer osteoarthritis or need total knee replacements than non-runners - something scientists have feared. I like this part. All those people who say running is going to ruin my knees - take that!

Roy - on either side of the web address you type a (a) and a (/a), but instead of the ( ) you use the <> brackets.

First, I was watching the news with The Hub this a.m. when the story came on TV. I had a hard time not giving him a I-told-you-so smirk. Second, the part about the knees - I may have cut that out, blow it up real big, and stick on the front of my fridge for The Hub to see, as well. Hmmm - I may actually have to send the article to everyone who has told me how bad running is for me, yadda, yadda, yadda. Is it bad form to gloat while doing that?? Big grin

Greyt article--I'm printing it and hanging it on my door. If that is bad form, I don't care! coast--as for the elderly jogger thing, just yesterday at a staff meeting, someone mentioned that they saw me jogging when I interrupted and said "I don't jog, I run. Tongue" grins, A
