I'm here too (for whatever it's worth).

Mon..... yoga class, 30 min (3 miles) elliptical

              Tue..... 4.4 miles running

Wed.... 30 min (3.1 miles) elliptical, 18 min (4.4 miles) stationary bike, yoga class

              Thur.... 5.6 miles running

Fri........ run to the gym (1.8 miles), 30 min (3 miles) elliptical, lower body/core work, run home (1.8 miles)

              Sat....... yoga class

              Sun..... 3.1 miles

totals: 16.7 miles running, 9.1 miles elliptical, 4.4 miles stationary bike, 3x yoga

OK, looking back on my week, and aside from the pitiful running mileages, it does seem quite well-balanced overall. 4 days running, 3 days cross-training and one yoga-only day (i.e. rest day). I suppose I could build from this format and just increase the mileages as I start to feel better.... though ideally I'd like to have a 5th running day, hmm. Maybe Saturday, and that would be my long run? We'll see.

                Hey.

I'm back. Busy week of meetings in Dallas left virtually no time for runs or XT... odd for me. I can usually find time for something. I did get a run after we were done on Thursday. That was nice.

                Mon - Wed: Nada

Thursday: 5.55 miles (I think, based on time mostly) and half mile walking

Friday: 3.5 miles on the treadmil after I got home; 1 mile walk

Saturday: 10.1 mile progressive pace run on the treadmill, .66 mile walk... it got really cold here again!!

                Sunday:

Whew!  Joe's here!  I was beginning to think I'd been abandoned.

Thought about skipping this week but then things started to come together...boy was I wrong!Angry  Work smashed me like a bug on windshield after Wednesday...keep thinking about retirement and working as a greeter at Wal-Mart. [Actually suggested it to my DW.]  Unfortunately need to pay bills and put kids thru school so not really an option.  Working on developing multiple personalities to deal with the interpersonal office crap that goes along with the job...got to learn to deal somehow.Black eye

Looks like someone needs to get in touch with his inner schizophrenia.  Big grin   . . . . . . or needs to start drinking more . . . .

Hey, I've often said I need a clone at work! Joe, work hit me really hard this week with travel and meetings and such. One of the first times I've gone on a trip like that and never stepped in the fitness center of the hotel once!!
