January Masters Miles (Read 547 times)

141.1 miles for me in Jan. 2009. One of the lowest in a long while, but running fine. Bill

      Ouch, that must hurt. Tongue

      Be safe. Be kind.

81.5 miles for the month. Building back up and feeling pretty good. Most runs have been on the TM but I have managed a few outside. This is the first winter that I have wimped out and joined a gym. Feeling a little guilty but also feeling pretty smart Wink Thanks Wildchild !

only 69 miles for me. on an up note though - that is almost double my mileage from last month (35), so I guess I'm on a better track.

                  Carolyn

Thanks WildChild - we ought to chip in and send you some flowers for doing this every month! Much appreciated...
Well, in lieu of flowers, can I have a free pass on running with a wind shirt tied around my waist? I do that a lot this time of year, since the weather's so changeable. Rlemert, on your virtual run through the Colorado Rockies, stop in and say hi! I finished January with 129.3 miles. No races, no PRs. Weird weather month - I ran in shorts 7 days and in yaktrax 9 days. No runs in shorts AND yaktrax, although that happens sometimes in the spring.

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

                    Trails are hard!

sorry, anachrotech, but I'm afraid I'm going to rip that award right away. Especially since Timbo is back on his ankle. 8.9 miles before my flutter started up. and a couple of miles with Max.

Need a fast half for late fall.  Then I need to actually train for it.

Thanks Wildchild, 159.4 miles for January Paul
2 miles (today)---coming off the DL slowly and carefully. Lots of walking miles, but I didn't tabulate those.
