Monday 6/19 Daily - Coastwalker Lost at Sea!!! (Read 34 times)

Oh, I wish I had time to tell you about my neighbor and how he drives me up a wall.  The thing that makes me the maddest is that I allow him to get to me.  I cannot believe that I am so weak to let this jerk get to me as much as he does.  If you ever hear of a guy in Lino Lakes being murdered, and if there is any reward for the capture of his murderer, go ahead and turn me in because I'd rather have one of you get the money than anybody else.

    Okay--gotta go.  See ya.

I am glad I don't have any relatives in Lino Lakes!

Do tell me where this pizza joint is though....

I just got got home from City Band practice, kind of late but we are practicing for our concert in Germany. I am going to Crailsheim, our "sister city" that we have an exchange student program. It started 70 years ago after the war when a girl from Worthington had a pen pal from there then took up a collection to send shoes to the children overseas. I am staying with my friend Ingrid who was here 1973-1974. I talked my sister into coming with me and she hasn't played a sax for 45 years but rented one and is practicing. We will be together at a resort up north next week and will have rehearsals together.

      when ya going starr?

      .

      very moving, PBJ.

      .

No running today <<<(ed note: so what’s new?)>>> after DW reported that the dashboard on her little 2013 Chevy Volt she got last year was blinking “low tire air.” I couldn’t have been happier to have something go wrong with a car that I could handle instead of everything being all electronic and digital.  Nope, unbelievable but instead of a spare tire, there’s an air can next to a spare battery in the well of the trunk that's supposed to get you to a service station for fixing the flat.   Fortunately, it did. .

      .

Otherwise, the overnight charges good for 40-45 miles (depends on temperature) are perfect for her nearby shopping, tennis, etc. , . . . and also allow me to get dropped-off/picked-up now and then without feeling guilty about wasting gas. Gas kicks in after 45 miles but it’s such a rare occurrence that, every couple of months or so, the dashboard has to recommend to switch over to gas to keep it primed too.  Good timing too as I wouldn't want a flat to threaten tomorrow’s annual Herring-Fest at the Swedish Club.  Did I ever say how much I love fish?

      .

ps paul – if you’re still around, it’s supposed to improve

to a sunny semblance of summer this weekend, . . . but I doubt it.

      .

pps I can just imagine a swashbuckling tomw in a cowboy hat on a horse.
