Marathon Maniac #957
For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...
Here’s what I have for last week’s tally.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thanks Holly!!!

I agree. And, he ran a 16:46 5K!
My ankle still hurts after spraining it 2 weekends ago. I haven't run in 11 days, and I might just go crazy. Work is super busy, so that actually helps. Hoping to run again by next week, although 40 mile weeks might still be a ways off.

Thank you, Holly! Hermosaboy, impressive mileage and 5k!

The trend continues this week, with two big round zeros and and easy day. On the plus side I watched Comrades marathon until 2am last night and it was great fun. At 2am they were only 2 hours into the race, with maybe another 3hrs to go, so I had to bail out.
