Falcon- what a great report. Very cool for you and all the guys. Good mileage, too!

Our boss declared Friday a "liberal leave" day.
Falcon - You're our hero tomorrow, . . . and everyday.
Seattle schools get a "mental-and-emotional restoration day."
Bio - whew, glad you’re okay.
Better than getting hit, though.Only 11 more days until the JFK.
Be careful, very careful, . . . until then.
Deezie - I don’t want to but there’s
just too much evidence to the contrary
so I hereby bet that Bio falls down
more than once in the JFK 50-mile.
However, Leslie is going to be very careful
in her 50K and will NOT fall down.
BTY - 1% should be an automatic recount.
Leslie - bummer bummer, for sure. However, does Karen know all your maladies? Will she be able to make you to stop, if needed?
Why doesn't she do it?
You have nice friends.
Murray - nice judo video. However, please redo
on a trail itself.
Erika - neat black fox.
Four Park Day - after the one day hiatus on Monday, the last two weeks’ rains returned yesterday but, contrary to the steady rain forecast for the rest of the week through the end of the month, if not year, this morning’s broken cloud cover and no rain offered an opportunity to see if any of the fall leaves had survived the deluge making up for last two weeks’ deluges with a drive over to the (1) Japanese Garden and adjacent (2) Arboretum across the street, (3) the trails above miles 21-22 of the old Seattle Marathon course and, of course, the nearby (4) Hillside Park’s trails and stairs I like. Unfortunately, the little sun that broke through the clouds was pretty much too low in the sky to transform the dull brown and damp leaves into the gleaming golden yellows I recall from a couple of years ago, . . . or maybe I was dreaming.
"Huh?"
"What?"
"Whoops, DW's sayin' something about her fatigue
needing some emotional restoration too."
"Hey, me too."

Thank You for the start Holly. Good choice of gadgets.
KSA- Have fun in FL. JLynne - Candy you say? Stumpy - I’m glad DW can spend time with Dad and still have a place to decompress. Bioguy - Baby your butt. Leslie - Good luck with the meow mixture. I’m sorry to hear about the surprise falling through. Deeze - Rock and Roll sounds tempting.
Rocheunner - Shuffling through the leaves is fun. Wildchild with 7 frosty ones!
Falcon Fixer - That’s quite a day.
Tet - Thank you for the pictures.
The 12 step recovery group I’ve frequented while in FL has an after meeting one hour walk. It helped bring me to over 8.5 for the day.
I spent the rest of the day with my aunt who became a widow in September. I’m concerned beyond words. Her daughter (my cousin) still can’t function through the day. Her junkie son (also my cousin) is playing mom like a cheap violin. I did not cause it. I won’t try to fix or control it. Crews Lake in Florida is one of the most beautiful storybook spots I’ve been to. Sandhill cranes came breath taking close to us.
