Thanks Holly. Starting a mini taper (mostly due to traveling/work schedule this weekend)
1 week till North Olympic Marathon Mon: rest - Done Tues: 10 miles - 9.0 miles (8:28 pace) Wed: 12 miles (some @ MP) - 12.0 miles (8:12 pace) none at MP legs just feel fatigued so kept the pace fairly easy. Thurs: 8 miles - 7.0 miles (8:26 pace) good run up to mile 6.5 then felt some discomfort in my left arch. stopped and walked my cooldown. Fri: 5 miles AM (then fly to Japan) - none Sat: 3-4 miles PM (after arriving in Yokosuka that evening) - none Sun: 13 miles - 13.0 miles (8:49 pace) 8 plus miles at 7:45 pace, then about mile 8.5 at a right turn my left arch screamed at me. walked some until it felt better the eased it back to the hotel. Total: 41.0 miles

Nice 22 plus miler last week. Good on ya. Busy work week for me, but week two of the official plan from Coach---also running Wineglass on October 4 like WRFB with a sprinkling of races before then to get sharp (I hope!)
5/25-----5-6 easy---6 easy
5/26-----9-10 with weekly series 5k @7:15 pace or faster----9.4 total with 5k @22:58---tummy issues
5/27-----7-8 easy-----7.1 @ 8:21 pace, drenched and tired, but happy to get it done
5/28-----off---work travel
5/29-----5 pace run------5.6 at 7:52 pace---trying to hold 8s, bit fast
5/30-----3-4 w/strides in last 2 miles-----4 with 8 striders
5/31-----15-16 with Ironhorse half-marathon-----15.4 with half-marathon @1:41:54
Total for week: 47.6 miles....into the 50s for the month of June!

Thanks Holly - Work and travel have kept me away from the RA crack pipe ... but the garmin has been tracking my mileage. This week as follows:
M - 5 miles
Tues - 6.7 track [5 x 1000 meter repeats with 100 meter jogs; w/u c/d]
Wed - 5.6 miles
Thurs - 5.5 miles
Friday - 12.6 [in the rain -- hate rain -- last 3 miles picked up]
Sat - 5 miles
Sunday - 6 miles [including 8 x 1 minutes @ 6:30 pace middle 2 miles]
Total = 46.6 actual miles
