Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Plan, who needs a stinking plan.....
1 week till Rock N Party Seattle marathon
Mon: 5.0 miles (8:37 pace) no GPS, looked at my watch on the way out and when I got back. Left arch decied to play nice today. Plus 3 hours of staining the railing on our deck. Tues: 5.0 miles (8:00 pace) steady run, fairly quick and HR was a little higher than normal. But, with the low mileage the past few weeks its understandable. Arch still feeling good. Plus 3 hours of staining the deck. We are finished with that project. Wed: rest day. Out to dinner with my son and his wife. Thurs: 6.0 miles (8:21 pace) nice run testing out my newly rebuilt treadmill motor. Fri: 10.0 miles (8:06 pace) treadmill is running very well, nice and quiet. Now, I need my legs to cooperate. Sat: 5.0 miles (8:48 pace) slow and easy recovery run. Sun: 14.6 miles (8:30 pace) steady run, Plus/minus 1100 ft elevation change. legs tired but finally starting to feel better. Total: 45.6 miles
Holly, my TM is a Nordic Track 7600R, its a little over 5 yrs old and has over 10, 000 miles on it. The motor started getting louder and louder. Finally, we couldn't hear the TV any more. I oredered a new motor (very expensive) and finally recieved it 8 weeks later. Unfortunitely it was smaller than the old motor. So, instead of waiting any longer we went out and purchased a Precor (delivery was a week later 6/20). Then, a friend of mine offered to look at the old motor and for $15.00, he replaced the bad bearing. I just got done installing it, doing the adjustments and a nice 6 mile run. Now, I will cancel the Precor ($3200 plus delivery) and the new motor has already been shipped back. Its been a good day. Can you tell I do like my old Nordic Track.

Not at it at all.
Very kewl! My Nordic Track is older than yours, and with fewer miles, I expect. I run mostly outside, and not as high mileage as you, but still my TM has always been there for me when I needed to stay close to home to watch DD or when the weather/road conditions were bad, and I enjoy the interval programs I have created. I love my Nordic Track, too.
i'm lovin' it... MM#1949
Thanks Holly!
