I found a fall race that my DH agreed to, because it's 30 miles from Devils Tower and we can combine the race with a rock climbing trip:

hilenie - even though I'm back I think I'm still a week behind but seem to have finally recovered enough from last weekend's epic hike up Mt. Fuji in the one-pronged wooden geta sandals (developed by the Tengu priests in ancient times to scale the mountain's 45-degree slopes) to return to running in tomorrow's Torchlight Parade 12K of divechief and tammygp fame. I hope another week provides for some marathon endurance again.

It will be my 5th marathon and my first since 2008.
