Eastern States 20 (Read 14 times)

    Dear Scorps,

Thank you for registering for The Eastern States 20 Mile/Run for the Border Half Marathon.  Mrs. Allison and I are thrilled that you've decided to register for the ES20 and we truly appreciate your supporting our event.  Hopefully, you can get a few of your friends who are not running Boston to run this race with you.  To tempt their sensibilities we have several radish stations before, during, after the event because we know what it's like to not have any.  It was the worst day of our lives.

Best wishes for productive and enjoyable training in the new year!

    Sincerely,

    Don Allison, R.D.

I'm not entirely sure why I'm in, but I'm in.

            Excellent

K Crem, you've come this far, what's another 6 miles?  This thing practically runs itself: Sugarloaf Registration

That is a dirty, dirty lie. We'll see.

                  Mile/Run for the Border

The Scorps mobile is now full.  I haven't had this much height in my car since I rescued those stray Giraffes from the Stone Zoo on the McClellan Highway.

                    Dear Mad-Mike,

Ha it just dawned on me that it's now less than 2 weeks to this and I still haven't run 20. I should probably load up my pockets with snacks on race day.

I just registered and am looking to car pool.  Please let me know.  Cell 207-651-2770.

Just learned this morning that Fro is not running this, as he is celebrating his son's birthday instead (wise).

Older, slower, and trying to keep up with Tall Dave.

Sadly enough Greg is right - will miss ya boys... I'll be chowing on maple syrup and ice cream sunday with the boy.... Go get it!

                            Cremer, Magic Mike, Greg M

My plan is to start picking you guys up around 730am.  Mikey first, then Greg M, then Cremer.

Does that work or do you guys want to leave earlier?  The last bus to Kittery leaves at 920

That sounds good to me.  I read that the last bus from the Casino in Hampton to the start at Traip Academy in Kittery is 9:00 am.  Are you sure it's 9:20?

Older, slower, and trying to keep up with Tall Dave.

My email from the RD on Monday said 920 but I see the site says 9.  Should we leave earlier?
