Supposed to be 3X1600 at 5K pace (400 jog recovery). The first two went OK but I bailed on the 3rd at 800m, jogged 200, then did another 800m. Just bonked. Stupid thing. I had no breakfast, a very small lunch of carrots, cucumbers and a boiled egg and nothing else. Ran 3.5 at lunch. To top that off, I had a dentist appointment at 3pm where they numbed up my mouth to do some work so I ran this workout with my face half numb! No wonder I bonked. When I ran my cooldown back to the car I could barely even make forward progress.
